Explained
Plain-English articles on how things work — each one a single self-contained file.
Short, self-contained explainers. Every article is one HTML file with no scripts, no external requests, and no fonts loaded from anywhere but your device. They work the same whether you're online, offline, or on a plane.
Why this exists: most explanations online are wrapped in ads, cookie banners, pop-ups, and analytics. These aren't. Open one, read it, close it. Nothing follows you.

About
Every article here is a single, self-contained HTML file. No analytics, no tracking scripts, no third-party fonts or images. Nothing on these pages makes a request beyond the initial file — you can disconnect from the network after loading one and it will keep working.
Built with plain HTML and CSS. No frameworks, no build step for the articles
themselves. This index reads a generated articles.json manifest,
so dropping a new .html file into the repository adds it to the
list automatically on the next deploy.
